Taste Media Group was founded in 2010 to provide video production, animation, and digital strategy for clients. We pride ourselves on being able to serve a diverse client base for their video production and digital strategy needs. As our company has grown, we have been able to utilize our experience in each and every project. Nowadays, consumers engage with mobile devices and utilize search for their purchasing decisions. The importance of video will only continue to increase. Thatcher Kamin

Executive Producer

I am appreciative and thankful for the opportunities, experiences, and relationships I have been able to form since starting TMG. I have been fortunate to have a great team, which has helped contribute to our refined processes, efficiencies, and continuity of our productions. I have enjoyed educating and working with our clients to help bring their ideas from concept to delivered video products as it truly is a rewarding endeavor.

I am also the Founder of Velocity Video, a community for creative families, focusing on teaching video production to students ages 8-18. Before starting TMG I started “Fix My Recipe,” an online cooking concept, worked as the Digital Producer for WCIU-TV (Chicago), and as an Associate Producer at Answers Media. I graduated from Mizzou with a degree in broadcast journalism, as working in live news provided the basis for my understanding of production, storytelling, and operating under deadlines.

I currently live in Lincoln Park with my wife, Marisabel, and our daughter, Aria.

Matthew Morgan

A little bit about myself: I began my career on the studio side working for Focus Features, first in Los Angeles, followed by New York City. While at Focus, I was part of the Post-Production team where I helped oversee the editorial workflow of several film projects. Shortly after, I worked at AMC Networks, working with the Media Management department where I managed original programming content delivery for SundanceTV, IFC and AMC. I began my career at Taste Media Group (TMG) in 2015 after moving back to my native Chicagoland.

At Taste Media Group, I wear a lot of hats. As a Senior Producer and Editor, you’ll likely work with me during all stages of the production process. I also serve as a Technical Director on livestream and hybrid event projects. In my spare time, I enjoy writing and recording music, woodworking, and spending time with my wife, daughter, and puppy.

Mike O’Brien

Senior Editor, Producer and Motion Designer

With over ten years of experience at TMG, I feel privileged to do what I love every day: tell our clients’ stories through video. I strive to collaborate closely with clients to produce high-quality results. No matter the project, I always demonstrate the same amount of enthusiasm, professionalism, and persistence.

I developed an interest in video at age eleven when my friends and I began to shoot our own comedy skits. It’s too bad YouTube wasn’t around in the early 2000s but teaching myself how to edit and sell VHS tapes after school has paid dividends. In my free time, I enjoy playing guitar, making pottery, and spending time with my wife and our cat, Winston.

Eric Miller

After spending much of my youth on the east coast I moved to Chicago in 2006 to attend DePaul University. And now years later I can comfortably call this city my home. As a director of photography, I obsess over all things light and shadow, and am always looking for ways to improve the visual craft. This blending of art and science has always drawn me in towards cinematography. Every shoot, from a commercial to a documentary, offers a chance to create something new and unique. Apart from the artistic endeavor I also find myself enjoying the comradery on set, having a great crew that’s on the same page always results in a better end product. When I’m not on a shoot or traveling to one I like to spend my free time with my girlfriend and our overly energetic herding dogs in Portage Park.

Elizabeth Everett

Associate Producer

As an Associate Producer at Taste Media Group, I work with our clients to help bring their video visions to life. I value working with a variety of clients that allows me to focus on my passion for content creation, video production and digital media work. Truly, some of my favorite hours of the day are when our team is producing quality content together.

Our unique approach and creativity is what I find most refreshing about working at TMG. Client satisfaction is always paramount for us, attacking any challenges head on. I am a huge foodie, enjoy traveling, and love to stay active with yoga and water sports.

Dylan Ludwig

Producer, Motion Designer, Editor, Technical Director, 3D Artist Tribeca Flashpoint Academy | TMG Since 2017

I attended Tribeca Flashpoint College in Chicago and graduated with a degree in Visual Effects and Animation. While attending I worked on small feature films such as “Thrill Ride” doing 3D Animation and Compositing for films, music videos and video games.

Since joining TMG I have worked on all types projects and use my passion to create and expand my skill set everyday. I currently live in Huntley, Illinois with my wife, Samantha, and my son, Everett and our two beagles.

Vincent Kamin

Marketing Director

As a veteran in the Chicago advertising landscape, I enjoy introducing clients to our abilities and the potential of utilizing video. As a photographer representative throughout my career – the transition to video has been thoroughly enjoyable as I always love learning. As someone who has lived through the transformation of media throughout the last three decades, it is incredible to see where we currently sit with the potential of video, digital marketing, and targeting.

In addition to my professional work, I have enjoyed writing editorial columns that have been published in the New York Times, Chicago Tribune, and the Chicago Sun-Times. I currently live in LaGrange, IL with my wife, Cameron, and am proud of all that my son, Thatcher, has created with TMG.

Colton Weiss

From a young age, I have always wanted to be involved in the world of filmmaking. I started writing scripts and shooting short films with my friends when I was in 5th grade. But that childlike dream became a serious passion when I discovered video editing. In High School I was the editor for a short documentary about a WWII veteran. The opportunity to see a serious film project come to light inspired me to pursue filmmaking as a career.

I obtained my Film degree from Columbia College Chicago, and TMG is where I began my film career outside of college. Every project is a great chance to bring a beautiful visual story to life. Throughout my time at TMG, I have never stopped learning and I have gained endless valuable life experiences. Outside of work, I love watching movies, traveling the world, making YouTube videos and watching Bulls games.
